How Photography Connects Us

The question is how does photography connect us? When telling a story it is better to have pictures when telling it. Photo's play a big part in story telling, it shows you what happened rather than just imagining it in your head. In the Ted Talk when David Griffen was telling us and the audiences there about the Leopard Seal's, it was better to see the pictures so we could see what was going on. Even though Griffen was telling us everything that was going on during that photoshoot, it's better to see it with pictures, we can believe it more.

Photography gives us a whole different look on things and connects us more with whatever is going on. With the pictures that David Griffen showed us in the begging of the talk, all of them gave us a different story. Everyone had their own look on things and their own opinions but when even when it comes to photography. Photography connects us to things in the world that we might not even get to see. It gives us the bigger picture on what is truly going on behind the curtains.

There are all kinds of different photo's out in the world that all have a different story to tell everyone that gets to see it. Everyone has their option and anyone can tell you that a "photo doesn't tell a story or have a meaning behind it." But that's really not true, I think that the photographer takes a picture because their is a story behind why they are taking that certain picture.
