Henri Cartier-Bresson took candid photos but when he did he always made sure that when taking all the picture he made his models forget the fact that they were being photographed. Henri acquired his first camera the Leica with 50mm Len in Marseilles. It was a small camera that gave him the ability to take photos of moments where people were not aware they were being photographed. The Leica opened up way more new and exciting possibilities to capture the world in it actual state of being. Henri was able to take good candid photos because no one knew he was taking them.
